"3 Divisions" Design Concept:
Mind……Landscaping
Body…..Architecture
Spirit…..Lighting
I was inspired by Renzo Piano's Jean-Marie Tjibaou Cultural Center inspired by the hut of Kanak vernacular architecture (http://en.visitnewcaledonia.com/zoom/tjibaou-cultural-centre). Simultaneously, I was thinking about Epcot Center in Florida (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/destinations/epcot/) that I got to visit with my family in year 1997. However, the translation of combining cultural buildings in one-spot has been done in so many places. Therefore, I suggested the design team to create innovative solution utilizing the 3 Divisions concept. I collaborated with many creative talents such as Kevin Horn (RTKL), David Gates (Gates & Associates), Eugene Sim (Sim Architect), and many more.
"Our firm was hired as the Landscape Architect for The Globe. We worked extensively with Angelina Martha Ailin Iwan as she filled the role as Project Director for the owners of this project. As an integral part of the design team, we appreciated her input and efforts. She was very efficient and a pleasure to work with throughout the process"
(David Gates, Owner/Partner).
"I worked closely with the Globe development team, particularly with Angelina Martha Ailin Iwan, who was the Project Director of the Globe employed by Imperial Investment and Development, Inc (the developer of The Globe). She is responsible, honest, creative, and it was a pleasure working with her"
